Our beloved child’s name was Kamen. He was six when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Christmas Eve, eight and a half when he passed from complications when it metastasized to his lungs. It was a gruelling 18 months of highs and lows filled with stress and uncertainty, long hospital stays and many nights at emergency. This coming July 4th will mark four years since Kamen passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his mommy and daddy.
