Oral health is an important part of overall health for both us humans and our pets. One of the easiest ways that we both can maintain our dental hygiene is to brush our teeth.
For pets, working up to a daily brushing habit is ideal, but if you can brush them a few times a week you are on the right track. The American Veterinary Medical Foundation has a great video that shares tips about your pet’s dental hygiene (no human toothpaste!) and how to brush their teeth.
For humans, as we all learned when we were children, brushing once in the morning and once at night is ideal. But just because it’s a habit doesn’t mean that we are doing things right. Are you using the right toothbrush? Are you using the right motions? Check out the answers to these questions and more in this article 8 Mistakes We Make Brushing Our Teeth.
