COMING THIS SPRING!

COMMUNITY DOG WALKS IN CALGARY

Get-Involved-Volunteer@2x

Let’s Go!

We are trying something, new!! One of the most powerful things we witness at Kali’s Wish is our pet-loving community coming together. It’s even more meaningful when families who are facing, or have faced, pet cancer support one another through shared experiences, understanding, and kindness.

Peer support and community connection are at the heart of what we do. They help people navigate the challenges of a pet cancer journey — and the grief that can follow. That’s why we’re starting Community Dog Walks.

We’re beginning in our home base of Calgary, and if the walks are well received, we hope to grow this program and bring it to other communities across Canada. Bringing people together in this simple way is one more step toward making sure no one faces pet cancer alone.

Our first walk:
📍 Sue Higgins Park
📅 May 9
⏰ 10:00 AM
🚶‍♀️ Distance: approximately 2 km

You don’t need to be facing pet cancer to join — everyone and their pups are welcome. If you’ve recently lost a dog, come for some canine comfort and community support. We would love to walk with you.

Let us know that you’re coming. Sign up here for this FREE community walk. We will have treats from our sponsors, and lots of smiles to welcome you. Look for us at the entrance of the park off the Southland Drive entrance.

Stay tuned to this page for event updates and future dates for new walks!! Hope to see you out to join us on May 9th at 10 am!
